Default Dealing with ABS

Advice needed!!!

It appears that my Sierra came fitted with ABS, rear disc set-up. Has anyone dealt with this before? Just wondered if you ditched the whole ABS system or if you kept it? I just can't see any reason why it would be required but don't want to sling it just in case I need parts of the system

Any help on the subject would be appreciated

Rapid

I ditched mine and got a standard sierra master cylinder and a rear brake pressure relief valve. The Sierra ABS system would be total overkill for a roadster and would add a lot of unnecessary weight and complexity. It would be a hell of a lot of plumbing and wiring. Also the roadster is about engaging the driver, I think ABS would make it less fun to drive.

Cheers Enoch, my first impression was to bin and get alternative, but you know what's it's like, as soon as you get rid, you find you need it! Thanks for the advice
