Thanks for the support guys, well this is how it went. I passed everything on the list from the initial inspection with no problems, however the inspector noticed a small amount of brake fluid on the back of the brake master cylinder after the tests. On closer inspection it appears to be a faulty seal with the piston seals. This is 100% my fault for using a second hand component from Ebay! The most annoying thing is it passed all the roller brake tests.

So basically, I failed!

A new master cylinder and a couple of hours work to sort it.

Does that require a full re test spike or is it just to check the brakes?

Just an MOT Style brake test and a quick drive around the car park he said. Not to bad really, its just a bit annoying having to get the trailer again.
