Default What spec aluminium to use?

Hi Guys,

quick question, what grade aluminium is the right one to use to make the bonnet, rear panel, all flat panels etc?

I know the book says half hard, but is that 1050-H14 or 3103-H14 spec. I spoke to my local stockist and described how I wanted to use it and he told me it would have to be a special grade and would have to get back to me on pricing. It would be nice to ring him up on Monday and tell him exactly what I want.

Thanks!

Sam

I used 2mm 5251 for my floor and 1.2mm 1050A for all my panels. the 1050 Has been fine to work with and folds and bends nice and easily.
