I can,t believe how quick your build has progressed nice one Rob .

I know of a forum member that might still have the wooden jig, I know he,s finished making his wishbones, I,ll ask him if he is looking to move it on to another builder. Unless he see,s this thread first

Any more pics of the chassis????

cheers
andy

Doh, silly me

I don,t know why but I thought you meant the jig for "making" the wishbones, I,ll go back to sleep

I,m sure you,ll achieve your target by christmas, can,t wait to see the engine & drive train in your chassis .

cheers

I didn’t use a jig!

I used some M12 threaded bar and spaced two wishbone mounts at the correct distance along the bar,

Then measured many many times

Then tacked then measured again

Then tried a wishbone in to check.

Worked for me just took my time.

Cheers Ginge

I have considered a similar route ginge but if i can get some jigs by the weekend it should be easier ive already messed about with the wishbones so id like the brackets in optimum position as im not sure how the modified wishbones will behave yet :-)
