Default Cycle Wing Brackets

I have made a start on the cycle wing brackets tonight, but when i held them in place, they where 70mm beyond the tyre.

Anyone know what i may have done wrong, pictures would be grate to.

Don't really understand what you mean by "beyond the tyre" do you have any pics?

I made my own that sit flush with the tyre and round my caliper. Can get some pics for you if you like?

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.
