Default steering column bush material

I'm thinking of making a few sets of bushes in nylon and a few sets in ally.
Do you think this would be ok?

I made a set in Ally for Sylvain in return for a copy of the full plans for the new design pedal box and they looked and performed ok.

Regards
Dean
