Welcome you should have no trouble with the kit youve ordered great christmas prezzie ! Only thing i will say is get a full donor car be it sierra or other it saves cost and decide fully your one donor before completing certain parts of the chassis
Saves time and money

Merry christmas

Rob

well
imho you wont go wrong with Andy,s kit
but if you are going to fit a zetec , electronic dash ,diy loom and custom prop etc
it might be easier to source
a complete sierra back end a type 9 and a set of front uprights and calipers
after all you will probably fit all new brakes and and fancy wheels
its worth doing some sums
and having a shout on locostbuilders and FSOC and ebay
cheers les g

Or just buy a finished car as you will get to use it sooner and cheaper...

A warm welcome to the forum Dennis

with regard getting a donor or buying individual parts........a lot depends on whether you have the space to strip a donor, this is the cheaper route as buying individual parts can cost a little more but has its advantages that you end up working with "just" the parts you need etc & takes up less time, tho having a full donor means you,ll have all the donor parts all at the same time.

Have fun with your build, if you get stuck, this forum is full of very helpful knowledgeable Roadster builders who are always willing to help a fellow builder, have a good read of the various sections of the forum & if you have a question you can,t find an answer to then post up your question & you,ll receive helpful info from the forum members I,m sure.

cheers
andy

Yes, sure it is Kev, we'll have another NE build - got loads now.

Any queries Wazac then go to HAndy as he is the complete chassis geek. Didn't know he was going all the way to Doncaster tonight though but i bet he enjoyed it in his Beamer though.

All the Best with the build.......AndyH
