Default IVA Insurance

Hi all, I have my IVA test on the 18th May at 08:00 at Exeter test centre. I have decided to drive there but I am struggling to find an insurance company for short term cover to get me there. Has anyone else insured their car to get to the IVA centre and who did you use please, many thanks Nick.

Afternoon Nick.

Adrian Flux insured mine on just the chassis number and I was able to drive to and from the IVA test. I started the insurance the day before the test, then once I had the reg number updated the policy online and a new cert came in the post.

2gether also insured it while I was still building it on just the chassis number.

HTH

Dave

A-Plan do it to. Insure you on the Chassis number until you get your reg.

Cheers

Hi Dave thanks for the quick response. So did you insure your car for the full year as opposed to short term cover?
