I'm only quoting what happened to me about 10 years ago!
My old mini marcos couldn't be had on a separate policy unless I accepted zero ncd which at the time made the policy more expensive then the car!
Only way was for the MM added to main car policy. When I decided to get rid of the main car and use the MM as the main car the premium went from £105 addition (fully comp) to £650+ with 60%ncd. No 'kit car' discounts could be offered as the MM had become the main car.

It'll all help in highlighting the pro's & con's of insuring more than one vehicle

Often, it's things in the small print that makes the difference between a good policy & a not so good one
