Default Scuttle

Sorry if this is a silly question
I am about to strip down my chassis after mock up to paint and just had a thought. If I am fitting a fibreglass scuttle ( I haven’t bought it yet having no space to store it)do I have to put a frame work under the scuttle to support it welded to the chassis or do they support themselves
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Rob

They are self supporting Rob, 2 layers of 450 gsm matting gives it a lot of strength and stiffness, also there is a flange to sit on each top rail to fasten down.

Nothing to worry about......AndyH

Can anyone tell me if i've got my scuttle in the right place?

I've found it's longer than the book one, so if the front lines up where it says in the book, then the dash end sticks out too much.

Do i line up the chassis upright with the back corner of the scuttle (dash side) ??

Anyone got a pic??

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.
