Exclamation Well after all that.......I think il build another one!

Hi all

Think i might build another car. this one wont be to book spec though, havnt fully descided on a doner car yet but it wont be sierra. i have a few in mind along with many ideas of how to inproove the excisting design in small ways.

any ideas welcome with regards to all aspects of another car views on things that can be inprooved / done diferantly to book spec?

As for why i am doing this to be honnest rarther insane thing i am one of those people who needs a project in my life and with my other half being in the forces and away for long time periods i need something to do with my time.

Just like the rest of the insane amongst the forumites here Tilly,Why not go mental with the/a single seater !!!

i had considered a single seater very much however i really enjoy taking people out for rides and scaring the crap out of them which you just carnt do in a single seater also when going to shows etc the pasenger seat comes in really handy as a boot.

A single two seater then,like the Furore.

Friend of mine built a Ferrari replica in 1990 fom scratch and no plans, Kwaka 1300 motor and Honda civic box.

Passenger sat behind where the airbox went, FAF and scary handeled like on rails.

another good idea though i have it in my mind that it will be another 7 like the haynes just with some detail changes rarther than a concept change

Rear engined as discussed here before,move seatback rails forward,feet where engine should be and use Audi/VW engine and box.
Front of engine to centre of d/shaft relatively short and 225 bhp is standard on TT engines given the right engine code, BAM etc.
