Talking It's alive

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my news. Managed to get the engine started up on my roadster earlier this evening. Bought donor in November 2009 so best guess is about 2.5 years the engine has been stood and moved house several times. Half cap of fuel in the carb and fuel pipe stood in jerry can. Second time it ran but no water so not running too long but seems nice and sweet. Is a tad loud due to only having standard manifold fitted....

Yeah, just a bit, the old guy in the bungalow across from mine wondered what the hell was happening. Should have exhaust system sorted shortly, believe it or not the whole system can be made from a landrover freelander centre section and mr2 exhaust tip... Hows that for 'on a budget'... Especially seeing as they were both free!
