Default I'm afraid my build will be much slower for some time...

My wife and I found out this weekend that she's expecting our first child! We are both over the moon.

I now have the huge task of converting the spare room (currently my cinema room - 100" screen, surround sound, the works ) into a nursery and spending all my money on baby stuff. So the roadster is going to have to take a back seat (no pun intended) for what could be quite some time.

If anyone has been following my blog, I must apologise in advance as updates may be few and far between for a while. But rest assured I'll do my best to grab the odd few hours in the garage here and there, just to keep it going slowly.

And of course I'll still be loitering somewhere on here.

congrats sam, mine is now 4 weeks old... the only advantage is being able to scour flea bay at 2 in the morning, i ended up buying a 2l pinto engine for 11 quid when the baby was 2 days old... didn't go down too well with the misses though... you have been warned!

good luck

Matt

Congratulations mate

Don't look at it as a slowing down - look at it as you've now got a 9 month accelerated build target

I'm over just outside Pontyclun - but my car is actually being built in Cardiff. Seems like we are getting quite a collection of South Wales builders now.

Cogratulations to both of you

I am sure that you'll be able to find a little time for the build.

Slowly, slowly gets there in the end

If you want any advice re: taking forever to complete the build let me know...........I am the resident expert
