Exclamation camber adjusters.........scary

Hi guys and gals,

Was setting up my front suspension yesterday, when turning the camber adjuster on the front upper off side wishbone it snapped. When I inspected it, I think it was one of the worst bits of engineering I've ever seen; made from low grade aluminium and ground down by hand to fit inside the wishbone Glad this didn't happen when the car was being driven. This came with the chassis which I bought second hand so I havnt a clue who manufactured it.

Obviously now I need replacements x4 as im going to change them all. The only place I can find them is rally design but theses are made of aluminium, I think they should be made of steel personally. Does anybody know of any other manafacurers of said item? Preferebly made out of steel?

Thanks Dan

Personally I would take the ally adjusters to a machine shop and say "make that out of a good grade steel billet" should not cost to much and will give you piece of mind.

It's more to do with how they are made and what grade of ali was used. Even steel ones could fail if made wrong.
