My spare ECU with it's new brain

Now I just have the small task of writing the software to run it!

Very cool. Looks like the board was the easy bit, no small task left even to just emulate the OEM function let alone make it user editable!

Cheers

It's showing early signs of life.
Got it flashing the MIL light, and spitting out serial data.
(extremely dull video alert!)

I wonder, is there room for more than one map in there? Sport button?

Cheers

Can't think why I'd ever not want to be in sport mode in the Haynes
Switchable maps sounds like a good idea though, should be space for at least one set of alternate maps.
I think I'll get it running on a single map first though!

I may be mad, but I'm far from a genius!

In other news it's big grin day today
1st of April is the start of kit car season for me so I stuck 6 months tax on it and drove it to work.
I'd almost forgotten just how awesome these things are!
Safe to say my post re-build running in procedure has already gone out of the window!

Hi skov,

How about some video footage from your rollbar?

I need some motivation to do the last bits of my car!

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.
