Default New builder ( nearly )

Hi,
Wow, it looks like it's been about 7 years since I last posted on here!
Back then I was hoping to build a roadster however job issues and no garage meant that idea was binned.
Now things have changed, still have the "book" and now in my garage have a 1.6 Eunos Roadster that has no hope of getting back on the road.
Currently half way through welding course at evening school and have a clarke 150en welder, so just about ready to go!
When I've stripped the donor and got rid of the unneeded bits I will be ordering a flat pack kit from Talon.
Be interesting to hear from anyone local to me, Leicester, Peterborough etc. so I can have a look at another build.
Cheers Dean

Hi Dean,
Welcome back!
I'm in St Ives Cambs, and have a completed MX5 Haynes.
If you're ever over this way you're welcome to have a nose around.
Good luck with the build.

Great to see another build about to start, you're braver than me going the flat pack route. I bought an assembled chassis from Talon and I've still got a donor to strip.

Well since that last post I decided to have a look at the extent of the rust on my eunos I even started cutting the rust out and welding in some good metal. As it is a mk1 v- spec I really didn't want to break it!
However the car is just to far gone. So it's game on now.
I have two weeks off at the beginning of January so that will be time spent cleaning the garage and starting stripping the donor.
Skov if the offer still stands I would love to come and have a look at your car, as I am not far from you.
