Default complete chassis

hi all, im looking for a complete chassis

i want one that is fitted with all brackets, mounts etc, to suit fiberglass panels and a type 9 gearbox

i dont want one from someone who for example who started the project and ran out of money etc

as i want it new with professional welds

if possible can you give me a website for the company, i know there are ones like saturn sports cars etc but looking for as cheap as possible

thanks

personally i would want one that is built correctly rather than cheaply £690 is hardly expensive for a chassis to be honest. have a look at all the other kit car manufacturers and see how much they charge.

i know its not expensive, but they charge 250 for flat pack and 690 for complete, does it really cost bout 440 to weld (i know they have to add profit) just seems alot for the welding.
ive considered buying flatpack and then seeing if i can get someone to weld for me but dont know :/

It took me nearlly 6 months to turn a flat pack to a finished chassis. Not sure how long they take to weld up I'd guess 3 or 4 days with all the brackets, not a fantastic rate on £440 so I doubt you'd get one cheaper.

I doubt a welder would do it for you, its time consuming and complex the first time you build one so it woudl probably cost more than £440.

I would go for one of the chassis suspension pack deals if you intend to buy wishbones and shocks downstream this saves a few hundred pounds and is better value than just getting the chassis, it's bigger outlay at the start but will save you pounds.

We have a full time welder working here and i am still buying my chassis complete. By the time we have built a table ,set up the jig argued for hours as to what goes where, listened to his negative attitude for a couple of days to the point of strangling him. believe me its good value for money. I do understand those that want to do the whole thing as its a great challenge but for those who have very little time buying is best. Also the hours saved would have it on its wheels with all its bolt ons done and dusted.
