Default FOR SALE ...Part built roadster

I have taken the decision to sell my part built roadster ...Two reasons for this is after being made redundant from a job which had the benefit of loads of time off and getting another job which only gives me the weekends off, I find my time would be better spent with my family ..Also my late mothers Alfa Romeo which i adore for the obvious personal reasons needs the garage space as the rot is getting to it in the driveway and i want my son to have it for his first car his gran died only days after his birth so it would be nice for him to have the car...so the decision has been made to sell up the roadster and use the space for the alfa. I would like to offer it to the forum first as it has been a wealth of help to me during the build...So so far its a fully built chassis with a Granada 2.0 engine and MT75 gearbox 8 x wishbones and poly bushes in yellow from Saturn sports cars..pedal box with sierra master cylinder fitted ..MK1 escort steering rack (reconditioned) all fuel lines and tank fitted to high pressure fuel pump...the rear suspension is Pro tec shocks and springs just reconditioned...a pair of gaz gaz for the front available but not fitted...the cooling system is a brand new polo radiator and brand new silicone pipes...the seats are a pair of stunning cobra seats with blue piping ...all of the engine wiring is in and ecu with matched key is present....all documentation for the donor is complete as is the sorn decleration on the donor...so age related plate obtainable...comprehensive build photos from start to present state....this is to gauge interest to recoup at least some of my costs I am looking for £1000 for the car not even close to what i have spent but i think its a fair price....so if anybodys interested then please get in touch before it gets put on private sale and other web bases bidding sites !!

Can you get up a picture of it's current state.

I may be interested but will not know till the end of the week if it will be possible.

Whoever gets it will no doubt put it to good use and at least if a forum member gets it you can watch its progress. Who knows you may end up buying it back if they get the dog with it.

So it's rollingish.

Well I should know by Friday if my circumstances will allow.

But don't wait for me.

Hi Andy,

Not been able to post for a while, with work, wife's op and also just got back from the Goodwood revivial.

Are you still planning on selling your project or have you done so?

Cheers.

Andy, can you keep it off the bay of thieves for a couple of days? Got the money for the roadster and would love to take on the project and keep it on the forum. Just struggling with sorting out the transport. The best price I have for moving it from you down to Leeds area is 400 quid which is more than I can push to. Don't have trailer myself. Don't know if anyone on forum has a suggestion about how I could get it down cheaper as would love to move the project on.
