Default Engine bay stretch ideas

I'm trying to work out the best way to add an extra 100-150mm to the engine bay without changing the front suspension geometry. Has anyone else done a stretch like this? My original idea was to stretch the cockpit and then bring the firewall back the same amount as the stretch.

Just had a good idea! how about i copy the front frame and make a 2nd that i place 265mm infront of the other.
Think something like this would work ok? this would allow me to use the full length of the bay for a RB25DET and give a inch or so to spare. would need to brace it more to compensate but i prefer this to redoing the hole engine bay.

duno if the suspension would be ok tho.

Humm 194mm would be the total extention. Think that would still look ok?
