Default rear tub

Having some trouble with the rear tub - I have cut the piece RP1 to 240mm as per the manual and tacked to chassis, but when I clamped the rails D12 &13 to check all diamensions ok (checked dimension & angles of these parts to book) they appear too long. Is anyone aware that the dimensions for these parts are not listed correctly in manual?

I have D12 as being 359mm with angles 44degrees and 8degrees.
D13 as 357mm with angle of 8degree and radius of 9.5mm.

I haven't cut RP2 as yet to the angle of 24degrees - depth of 355mm as rear just does not look right.

Hi, Welcome to the forum.

I,m not sure I fully understand the problem that you have encountered

When you say you have cut RP1 sides to 240mm...does that mean you have made them to this dimension when they have been bent to meet the 930mm length?

The sketch Fig 4.15 on page 43 is helpful when making the rear tub frame.

Hope this helps.

cheers
andy
