Default diff bracket assy? ds1+2

witch way round does the diff plates go as i dont want to weld to fing i made a mess up
i can see the holes are of set on ds2 and the pic in the book is not showing how it fits to ds1?
holes nearest top closest to ds1?

the holes on mine are closer to the brackets, i have got a couple of spacer washers between the brackets and the diff, so either way should b ok
