You dont need E markings for halogen headlights. Only the Fog light neeeds E markings.

They must be ok, because GBS fit these lights to the 'zero' as standard. Pretty cool looking lights.

this is just a h4 beam conversion kit so you need to add a 7" set of bowls by the look of it

Just spoke to an vosa Bob at Llantrisant today about the dlr lights. He said that it is not essential to have e markings on front lights, however, he says that he has an issue with dlr headlamps, unless the day time lights can be operated by a switch, he will fail the car. Bit gutting really, as I haven't long bought a new set from kit spares. Also, on the subject of bike engines in cars, they must be fitted with a cat, as they are now being tested under car rules & not motorcycle rules. Modern motorcycles have the cat built into the four branch manifold, so maybe a cheap option would be to get one from the breakers, and adapt it to suit the installation. Just thought that I would ask while I was at Llantrisant, as there seams to be a bit of a grey area around the two subjects.

To be honest although you are calling them dlr lights, to me they are side lights and would be hooked up to the side light circuit which is switched. Theres no provision for a side light bulb in the unit anyway.
