I'm still in the process of filling in all the paperwork, and getting some pictures together to send off.

I'm hoping to get it all away by the end of the week.

Car is looking fantastic gus. You should be be very proud of what you have built.

Out of interest do you have any pics around the front suspension to show how you have protected all the edges?

that's looking damned fine Gus, just out of curiosity is the air filter ok for IVA protruding through the bonnet like that? I thought it would be a no no like that.

There are other cars that have been through IVA with the filter sticking through the bonnet. The nuts that hold the filter together are dome headed and the edges are folded over on the chrome covers. Should be ok hopefully.

Failing that I'll get some more rubber trim out!!

Cheers

Gus

Is there a grille on the front, in pic 4 it looks like it but not in 3.

Also how have you calibrated you speedo, is there adjustment on the unit? I plan to mine for for the iva and change it when I have the money.

My first one passed SVA with the exact same filter on and was fine - as you say rolled edges and dome head nuts.

The speedo will be fine if you've used the same circumference tyres - look like 15" so 15x50 is fine.

Good Luck.....AndyH

ps - dont let yourself get stressed over it, its not too bad

As you say Andy tyres are 195/50/15 with original clocks, so hopefully speedo will be fine. There is a grill fitted. It is made of diamond shaped perforated sheet, so if you get it at the correct angle it looks like it isn't there.

Cheers

Gus
