There's two relays on the model with air con. One is switched on pin 31 and the other on pin 13. Do you know if it's possible to use pin 31 to switch a normal relay or is it be possible to use a five pin relay adapted to use the normally closed contacts and switched by pin 13? I'm adapting a Daiwoo Matiz fusebox with escort dash,sierra switchgear and Mondeo ECU.

No it wont work. The ecu uses the fan to draw the warm air for the gas conversion for the Ac to work. It relys on the pressure switches aswell.
