Default Roll bar

Hi ya
Does any one know the requirement of roll bars for I.V.A. (well that is if there is any).
Apart from the obvious safety reasons does it need to have one at all?

Many thanks

A roll bar is not required to pass iva

However if you do have a roll bar and mount seatbelts or harnessess from it it will be examined to make sure it is strong enough

Obviously it will be checked for sharp edges etc too

Some way of getting the upper seat belt mountings to the correct height above the seats will be needed if a rollover bar isn't used.
