Default Engine number

Hi,

Does anyone know where the engine number is on a CVH ? I have 2 sierras, one has the number where it says in the Haynes manual it should be i.e. between some unused engine mounts at the left front as viewed from the front but the other doesn't have them. It just appears to be a rough cast finish.

Adrian,

Thats where the one number is but the other one isn't
I've tried to attach photos but they are too big and I'm struggling to resize them

These are the photos ( I hope )

The first is obvious but I can't work out an engine number on the second.

I think that I'll restamp it
