I4 8V = 125 BHP ( cat version arroun 118 for comparison )
I4 2.0 16V RS2K = 150BHP
I4 2.0 16V = 134BHP

Think your right, maybe another 30bhp is a little more on the realistic side of things.

I'll be going for a 1.8 CVH with bike carbs + megajolt from the start. It will be getting a full rebuild in the next few months once I have the chassis rolling.

im using a 1.8 zetec with the original 130bhp ecu and an aftermarket plenum.

im keeping my options open at the moment but somthing tells me it will be a zetec 2.0 from the power to cost of install

theres loads of good motors that could be used i quiet fancy a rover k (light) or redtop if a cheep bell housing comes up.

1.8 BMW single cam to get it through the IVA. Then one day when I'm rich a Mazda Wankel (yes I know I will go blind!!).
