Interesting shape. I can't see them fitting my "seven type" though .

I see rose joints are used as opposed to a bush.

Rose joints seem to be used alot on American kit cars. Wouldn't they give a very different feel to a bushed joint, having practically no inherent complience as you'd get with a bush?

Spherical rod ends ( to give them a generic name ) are usesd all the time for track applications but are a bit unforgiving on rough roads. they are also usualy open to the elements ( a fail on IVA i think ) and the dust and grime will wear them out ,

there used on trains and are pritty resilent to wear and grime tho there would be no give in the joint at all

rubber boots can be aquired to keep the dirt out

if anyone where useing them i would recomend nylon lined ones as thay are not to harsh but its so thin your practily running metal to metal

the only place i had thort of useing them was to repace the top balljoint/trackrod end for top of the front hub and maybe the rear ajuster to

Had spherical rod ends on the rear end of my Formula 27 as standard and that was a lovely car to drive ,not harsh at all.
