Default roll bar length

It might just be me being blond or stupid but can anyone tell me the length of tube I need for the roll bar?

Thats a 'how long is a piece of string?' question. What shape do you want to make it, how high do you want it to be, can you put the bends in the right place first time or will you end up cut'n'shuting it. I'm guessing the MOD in germany has a big fancy bit of kit to do the job? I'd say wait till you have the chassis welded together then play with the roll bar. Your looking at 3mtrs min.

Default Roll Bar

We do have a machine at work but it's not new and it's not fancy and I think it will only do bends up to 30Deg. The Rally X club I'm in has a pipe bender for doing roll cages and there are a few experts with it so i'm sure i'll manage to get a loop sorted.

Thanks Phil, hows the snow?

Regards

John

Larger roads are ok for now, I will find out tomorrow if the courier will come out this way in a 7.5t to collect your flat pack. Will let you know if it's yay or nay tomorrow afternoon.

Phil
