Default Fog light position - height of rear of car

I was wondering if someon could help me - My car is up on trestles and I've yet to sit it on its wheels. I would like to fit the number plate and fog/reversing lights. To do this would someone with a normal alu rear tub be kind enough to measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the rear curved tub tube when the car is sat at the correct ride height. I want to make sure I get the fog light in the correct position As i read it the fog light can be anywhere between 250 and 1000mm from the ground.

Second question is I bought a set of the common wipac style landrover like this http://www.wipac-aftermarket.com/uk/...nfo_S6109.html
Just wondering how people have mounted these at an angle with the flat backed plinth provided.
