I'm sure spud or somebody will be along to confirm but I seem to remember this being discussed a while back and thinking that the scuttled are a different profile. Think the haynes roadster and a robin hood may be slightly different widths to. I could be totally wrong though.... It has been known

It's a shame really no one is selling off the shelf windscreens and weather gear for the roadster

The scuttle would be the wrong radius to take the windscreen Darryl, the Dutch firm where these Steve:

i reckon a caterham one is not far off. waiting on my mate james t o try his next time he has it off. i tried a robin hood one and it was too wide at the top. the roadster/saturn scuttle is quite narrow at the top and slopes off quite steeply which seems to be the problem

Hi, it is my intention to fill this hole in the market when I get far enough in my build. I am a way off and may even put an aero screen on to pass IVA and then experiment with a design for windscreen and weather gear using my car as a base to work from.

The plan is to offer packages, something like this:

* Screen and wipers only (only suitable post IVA)
* Screen and wipers, and heater
* Full weather gear. Screen, wipers, heater, canvas roof and side panels.

The screen etc would come with a mounting kit to be welded (probably rather than bolt) to the chassis. I would also aim to do kits for the standard roll hoop and the other popular full cage design.

That is unless somebody beats me to it!
