Default Cub Sport L7 seats

I got an email from KPD (kit parts direct) and i found these seats.
http://www.kitpartsdirect.com/item.p...&site=EM270912
Price is good at 165 for a pair!
From what i see from the pics i think that the finish of the upholstery is not what we would call perfect.
Anyone tried these?

I think they are the same seats, i cant say for certain now but i know that kit parts direct used to be a sub division of kit spares trading under great british sports cars badge. I believe they still are.

I seem to have read that they split, Kit Spares is the GBS Ltd web shop, KPD is now a separate entity.

Thats why i wasn't certain if they where still the same. But the seats do look the same, probably sharing suppliers for some products still.

for £165 thay are good i think i have a set as wifey was not letting her bum get near a grp one!

ther is a few places you can get them from with all sorts of piping colours and go under a few diffrent names like mamba L7 you can get runners to match them too
copy of a old cobra seat by the looks of it

I have the ones from kit parts direct, they are are rip from fabbies narrows. Nice seats if a little narrow, only problem is that the captive nuts werent welded to a gripper plate, so they have cracked free inside the seat meaning my drivers seat now moves freely by wobbling it at the top, nothing a bit of resin wont cure though but somthing to be aware of with the cheaper seats. Passenger side has had very little use, and is fairing a little better, so it could be the way im getting in through the rollcage.

Again, 165 pounds for a pair of "problematic" seats are better than 300 pounds for a pair of problematic seats.

I looked at the seats available and it seemed to me not a lot of them looked very good quality. In my mid fifties I just couldn't see fibre glass being comfy so I decided to look around for some centre rears from a renault scenic.

Bought the first about three months ago from a Renault Scenic RX4 and been scanning Ebay for a matching one. The second has just been delivered .

£95 for the pair delivered.Top quality seats and runners. Perfect fit.
