Default V6 Donor

Has anyone tried fitting an AUDI V6 to their roadster, I have a 2.8 injection engine and it seems quite light and compact.

I know Alphax fitted some VAG engines to Roadsters, not sure about that one.

The Rover v8 lump fits so why not that beast..

The AUDI engine is 450mm long and weighs 162 kg, how does this compare to a Pinto?
