Standard socket set will get it all appart, you may need a TORX bit for the oil pump.

There is a hidden bolt on the top rear of the timing cover in the V-Valley.

JUNK the Viscous fan while your there.

cool well i can have a look at the timing chain and stuff when b4 i buy it but willl look at the oil pump after.

how far along are you with your build?

Good result there Bobby. I paid £360 for a complete car with 8 months MOT, 60K on the clock and full service history. Only faults with the entire car were a FUBAR slushbox and five ancient tyres.

Last car I bought for 300+160 delivery.

I have sold £500 of bits of it excluding the engine, box , brakes, wheels and hubs!!

Bought one engine for 100 complete with a spare 12v... + colection £40 ... Sold box, cats and bits of 12v for £150 ... So bargin

to tell the truth its going to need some work and parts. any one know where i can get rocker covers from?

lack of them is the main problem lol

i think i will change the cams as well as the chain the blade looks ok so that is good
