Smile First drive

The Roadster saw the day light for the first time today (and the window is quite short now in winter time, night falls around 16:00).

I'm glad I could do that before calling the first building inspection, as I haven't have any problem on this short test. I even could pass the second gear

Hopefully, I can take the first inspection and have the chassis painted before Christmas

Car is impressive Syl ....well done on another milestone....tell you what tho that video camera must have a seriously good image stabilization system as it was super smooth especially when walking.....looks a lot like you are striving for getting it onto the road in spring I would say you are well postioned to do just that

Thanks Kev. Yes, my goal is to have it finished for next spring. Hope I can live up to that. Regarding the camera, it is actually a tiny photo camera (pocket size Canon Ixus 120). So I think the steadiness has to be credited to my girlfriend

I bet the splinters are a bugger to get out, that would be asking the other half to go beyond the call of duty

C'est magnifique, Sylvain! I envy your self control for not spinning the wheels a little on the grass :-)

I love these first drive videos. Along with reliving our long-time virtual friends' joy we get to see their faces for the first time, too :-)
