Default HandyAndy - Roadster for sale

Hello All,

Handy doesn't have access to the forum at the moment so he's asked me to post this brief advert for him.

Due to various reasons it's come to a point where i'm afraid Andy needs to sell his roadster. The car is in a fully finished state but just needs IVA'ing and registering. I and many others have followed Andy's build from the start and know that he has put together a quality car that will put a big smile on somebody's face. There is a link here to "Big Day" thread which shows Andy's build from the start and also some nice completed pics.

http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showt...t=2163&page=30

The car is a standard book build with Sierra donor, 1.8cvh engine, type 9 gearbox, full grp body, new front calipers and discs, new rad and new wiring loom. All the relevant paperwork is available for the donor car to.

Andy is looking for a quick sale price of £3k for the car which seems a good deal to me. Any enquiries please feel free to pm me or phone Andy direct on 07722 349836

All the Best to everyone and Handy............AndyH

Andy

When you speak to Andy, please let him know I genuinely know how he feels about having to sell up, and send him my best. Mine was picked up yesterday, and now lives in York - sad day

Don't reckon Andys will stay around long at that price, best of luck Andy!

Cheers

Adrian

Sad day indeed! Andy was the one who convinced me to build my roadster, really sad to hear it won't be on the road with him driving it!

Had a TXT this morning regarding this. Definatly a SAD thing to have to do. But If needs must. He says he will do another when the time is right and will stay in touch.

I was tempted, but the reality is that I realy should finish my own rather than adding another project to the pile...

Good luck to whoever snaps it up.

TT

thats sad news.
I thought Andy had tried for IVA did he not make it in the end?

And from a selfish perspective I wish people would ask a bit more money for their roadsters as these cracking builds going dirt cheap are seriously damaging the resale value for our builds

I'm over 3k in and still a bit more to go I'd happilly swap mine for Andys

Best of luck to Andy btw

Very sorry to hear HandyAndy is having to sell. Knowing the enormous attention to detail that has gone into it he must be completely gutted to have to part with it. Having seen this car in the flesh I can confirm this is an absolutely top quality build and worth more than he is asking.
