Default Im new :)

Hi i have decided to build a kit car and seeing as this is the first time doing it, i would much appreciate all the help you guys could give .
i have a BMW E30 1989 1.6 as my main donor car but the book only really goes into detail about the sierra as the donor and about using the maxxi ball joints and the sierra track rod ends and also the transit drag links so just wondering if they coukd still be used for the bmw or would i have to find something else to do the job ? And also with the coilovers were is the best place to get them from . any websites or places people can suggest to get help or parts from would be great and thanks in advance.
cheers rhys

Hi Rhys,
A warm welcome to the forum, i,m sure you,ll find lots of helpful info from fellow builders here ,
There are a couple of builds in progress using the Bmw as the donor, have a play with the search facility & see if that finds some past posts with info that may help.
The Roadster is very fortunate to have a some very good suppliers who are all forum members....Saturn Sports Cars , 3GE, Talon & me too ( ), from these suppliers you could get practically every part needed to complete your build.

Have a read thru the diifferent sections & i,m sure you,ll find all the info you need.

I,ve moved this thread into the "General Discussion" section .

best wishes for your future build.

cheers
andy

Smile Welcome Rhys

A very warm welcome to the forum Rhys

Can see that you have had some very soud advice so far .... You'll be in safe hand's on here mate

There is a drawing of the sort of mods that can be done to mount the BMW front hub floating about the forum somewhere.

Prety sure that Talon will be more than happy to assist you with any chassis mods needed

Enjoy the build
