If you have got a v5 for your donor you won't need a letter from ford.
You need a new inlet gasket, and the set of carbs you are going to use. I made a plate to suit each, and then joined them together with tubes. You could respace the carbs, but it is a lot of work. Where possible use the original rubbers that the carbs were mounted with. I had trouble with them popping out of silicone hose on my first manifold.
