Thank god you have found it mate
 Just as I was doing this master creation for you in Paint   If the bar code on the timing cover is still visible, Ford may have been able to ID the engine for you. Glad you are sorted

Hiya Ronnie, thanks for doing that piccie for me, the number was so well painted over that there was no evidence that it existed.
TT, I was a bit worried as to whether that arrangement would work or not but it seems to be fine so far. I may have to put a tensioner back in there but will see how I get on like it is in the photo. Thanks again to all, Enoch
