Default Have I got these right?

Got abit confused from the books drawings so just thought I'd confirm on here. Have I got these bits welded to the correct side and position on the plate? Also are m8 bolts strong enough? was tempted with m10.

You've got it fine, the 35mm goes on the inside the way you've got the plates....

I'm sure there has been a thread about this before but the M8 bolts are fine, the breaking strain of 8.8 M8 bolts is 2,985kg x 8 = 23,882kg. I think that should be sufficient.

Wooooooo. Excellent! does the 19mm box need fully welding too? Ahhh 23,882kg sounds plenty strong enough! Thanks

yes, fully weld the 19mm box, but do this before you weld the upper shock mounting on, otherwise its difficult to get the welding tip into where you need to weld
don,t ask how I know that

cheers
