Haynes are in the process of upgrading the forum's software and database to the latest versions. We have been assured by vBulletin that this will cure our spamming woes.

We are anxious to ensure that all the data from the current forum is carried across successfully so please be patient if the migration takes a few days to complete.

I was a bit worrying no being able to connect to the forum these last days, but I guessed it was for getting rid of the spam problem.
Not having the forum for a few days was like feeling orphan, this community is very important to me, and as a lot of us, I wouldn't have gone that far in my build without the help of this forum's members.
So a big thank to the forum's administrators and to the Haynes webmasters for their work to keep this forum running, hopefully spam-free, but I'm aware how a war against spammers is a difficult one to win.
Let's keep our finger crossed :)

+1, this forum is a valuable resource, it's like the extra 10,000 pages it would be great for The Book to have in it!!!
