Can anyone tell me what needs altering on a chassis designed to take an ally tub to suit the GRP tub?

I know the rear tub tubes have to be removed and I think there is an extra bit added at the bottom but damned if I can find a thread showing it!!!
Hopefully someone will be along shortly to elaborate :D

I think Equinox have a GRP tub that goes over the rear chassis rails and therefore no modifications required, could be wrong though.

that's the indication I was given when I picked up my equinox bodywork, haven't fitted it yet though.

Anybody know the width of a mx5 roadster please ? Outside edge of front wheel, to outside edge of the other front wheel please ? Having quote on a brick garage, and builder needs to know what size door to fit. Massive thanks

I've fitted a 7ft (it might be 7' 4") wide door to my garage and I've only taken my car (focus) in and out but it's TIGHT I would go as wide as you possibly can around 8ft - 8 1/2ft wide.
