Tr9 to gear stick

Can anyone tell me what is the distance rom TR9 to the center of the gear stick so it dosent hit the the dash etc.

I am trying to st out my trans tunnel

I think it really depends on how far back/front you fitted your engine, and it is slightly different for everyone I guess (book EM boxes or custom engine mounts on flat plates, etc.). My gear stick sticks out just behind TT5.

From what I can make out you need to sight up the gearbox in the trans tunnel and just ensure that your as far back without the bell housing and rear of the engine coming into contact with the chassis. I am at the same stage as you by the sound of things and that is how I am going about it

thanks guys I have the whole bellhousing behind the fire wall now so see how it goes:)
