Hi Matt,

This will depend on what seats and runner you use, so there's no standard pattern. I think most builders get there seats and make the mounts to fit.

Some of the Renault MPV 's have detachable seats in the rear and the subframes could be used or even the seats as they are fairly small but still usable.

My mate has just fitted the rear centre seat from a Peugeot 307sw in his mev exocet. Decent looking seat and narrow enough for roadsters too by the looks of it :D

I've already changed my seat mounts 3 times
Keep changing my mind/finding better setups!

Personally I'd be tempted to leave the seat mounts until quite late in the build - just clean off the paint around the area you need the mounts when you want to fit them. The problem is (as MikeB mentioned) that there is no standard fitment, so it'll depend on what you get.
Your alternative is to get your seats now and make an educated guess at your driving position (easier if you have the column). This also allows you to make "Brrrm brrrrm" noises and pretend to drive it. Not that I've ever done that mind ;)
