Morning gentleman. I am about to do the brake lines, and was wondering if anybody can recommend a decent pipe flaring tool please ? I was going to buy a sealey AK506, being a sealey nut, but it seams to get mixed reviews. Any help would be really appreciated !

I bought the sealey one to do mine.
Only any good on copper pipe, even then took a couple of goes to get a good result.
Pin broke off the pipe insert in the end!
Did the job but don't expect it to last.

Hi there.
Measure the length of the lines and buy the pipe from somewhere other than halfords and the company will normally flare the ends for you with a professional tool.
I paid 10 for the pipe and about 5 for the unions.
I did try flaring my own but it was hard to get a good end with a cheap tool

I bough a cheapish (~50 quid) German-branded flaring kit and it did the job just fine. It was also useful for flaring the ends of copper fuel pipes.
