View Full Version : Finally some decent progress - with pics

It's been more years than I can remember since the build started and I've only really lurked here for the last while but I've had a few days off work so got round to painting the panels and some assembly. Still a bit to go but I'm liking it. Also had a few runs on closed roads and although needs setting up correctly I can tell a quick rack will be the first upgrade. Running a 1.8 cvh on bike carbs and megajolt, it'll not last after IVA. No hurry to IVA, I hope to get some setup done and a couple of track days before summer is over.

Thanks for the comments.

The more I look at it I've decided if I was to do again I'd lower the scuttle height. I keep it high to avoid a bonnet bulge but now I think it's slightly out of proportion. Not that I've anything against a bulge it just seemed like a good idea at the time.
