A few years ago it was -15'c in the workshop and every thing froze solid from the toilets to the machine coolant in the mill and saw. Today the reverse has happened and the compressor has got so hot that the pump has melted the plastic air filter housing and digested it. I'm currently looking at wrapping some 10mm copper fuel line around the head on compressor to run a water cooling system through it.

Yeah - it is a bit tropical at the moment isn't it. Thankfully my workshop is about 50% underground so the temperature should remain bearable this weekend. The benefits of building a car in an air-raid shelter :-D

If you could make a 'P' shaped loop you could just attach it to a hosepipe - leave the tap open and use the main supply as a heatsink? Saves any faffing connecting up a radiator to loose the heat?
