So there is no requirement for side repeaters to be seen from the front. yes?
In the horizontal plane!

But there is a vertical requirement???? Yet no vertical requirement form the rear!

In our case the "verticals" are a and e .....anything up to 750mm agl so your lights could be nearly on the ground but the visibility has to be those angles shown for a and e

Thanks for your replies, I've decided to try some other side repeaters on the back of the cycle wings. They are stick on ones with no or only a small hole for the wire.:)

ist a diagram for viewing angles of lights.
the iva bods are very hot on this and i would make sure you place all your lights so you comply
as repeters have to be viewable from the rear the only two places that are ok realy are the outer edge of the front mudgard/wing or the front outre edge of the rear arch
i had some led repeters in the front of my flat top cycle wings from kpd but car builder solutions do some now with led indicator and repeters built in

Mine are on the front of the cycle wings and only just meet the 2600mm from the front rule.
I am considering the flexible led indicators that chris spotted at sva to go on my cycle wings

Yeah the nose of the AGM body does tend the lengthen the front end somewhat more than the Gillam/saturn/nts does. The new ones arrived today btw, they seem weirdly flexible. Hope to get them fitted this weekend weather permitting as its impossible to work on the car in the garage anymore as some idiot has gone and built a car in there!
