Wind seems to have died for the last 12hrs or so..

Yes it seems generaly a little busier.

Personaly I am looking at the projects (2 sierras and the Haynes) and deciding what jobs to do to make progress. I am also currently looking at spare engines. Another 1.8 CVH which I hope to put the bike carbs on and get running off the car, and also a 2.3 8V Hybrid for after IVA...

The garage is beinng tidied one square foot at a time. Although I expect a few of them to be take up by a new pedal cycle tomorrow...

Was planning a Car Port so that work can carry on on the cars ( not in the garage ) even when it's raining. But not sure funds can be justified.

I've gotten busier with building, I guess you could say I've been given a kick up the backside.

If there are currently more builders, hopefully there will be a bigger turn out at this years car shows. If i remember correctly, there was only 1 Haynes roadster at Stoneleigh show last May.

I am hoping mine will be finished by the end of summer as well. There are plenty of guys on here with completed cars, and with support from various companies such as Talon Motor Fabrications, there is no reason why we cant get a good turn out and put together a good stand at the shows.

Woooah there fella don't go putting faith in me to help you finish your car, you started it's YOU that has to do all the hard work I just make parts. As for putting together a stand at shows do you mean just agreeing to park in the same club area outside or in the nice warm hall opposite GBS?

I think you got wrong end of the stick there, i can assure you all the work on my car i have performed myself. My point was if we had our own stand, surely you would be able to bring a show car with ya? Would be a good marketing stunt for your business as well. All helps towards putting together a good stand...

.....Just to clarify, by stand i mean our own club pitch in the field not in the halls. :)

If its that simple, hopefully i will be complete by end of the year so i will be emailing them next year for a 'sign on a stick'. If anyone wants to park up near me.....
