Steering rack clamps

Looking for some clamps for my steering rack and came across these on the bay.

They mention that they are for road or race use, anyone have any idea if mr iva man would be ok with them?

I am not so sure I would trust the plastic clamps, I dont know how they would react to the high under bonnet temperatures of the roadster. I got the Ali ones off ebay that clamp down onto a piece of hard bakerlite.
